With over 27 years of experience, RehabCare is the leading national provider of post-acute services, managing rehabilitation programs in partnership with over 1,270 hospitals and skilled nursing facilities in 42 states. RehabCare also owns and operates 35 long-term acute care and freestanding rehabilitation hospitals.
As recipients of the scholarships, Kati and Mark documented an excellent academic record, demonstrated a passion for physical therapy and articulated a clear interest in working with the geriatric population and providing services in underserved areas (rural communities).
They will complete a clinical internship in a RehabCare facility and will present a project and an in-service to therapy staff.
Congratulations to Kati and Mark for not only receiving the scholarships, but also for choosing to pursue careers in physical therapy!
